WELS Missions Diaspora Ministry liason to the United Arab Emirates & wider region (OFWs, expats, ...)

Are you leaving for the UAE or a neighboring country in the region to start work as an "OFW" ("Overseas Foreign Worker")?

Or maybe you have loved ones there or know someone moving there to work there far away from family?

When being far away from loved ones, but mainly far away from your spiritual family ("being in Diaspora"), you need not only memories of your loved ones and your home country, ... you also need to have means to keep your faith alive and nurture yourself spiritually!

Being in Diaspora, in a place where the majority has a different faith is a different situation than being at home where not only your loved ones are daily part of your life, but where your church is usually "just around the corner" and church life and good spiritual fellowship and pastoral support always easy available.

We care about your faith and how you can keep your spiritual life alive, actually even grow in your faith while being abroad!
